The technology and information previously available only to those showing great promise or a large wallet can be accessed by the everyday golfer. Driving Range Plus uses the latest in sensor and simulator technology to supply the practicing golfer with instant and accurate feedback after every shot. Using their own clubs the golfer hits a real ball at a GPS generated image projected onto a screen in front of them. Their shot is projected onto the screen in real time (the imagery is amazing and really needs to be seen to be believed), immediately after the shot a results screen appears giving them a full analysis showing total distance, carry distance, club head speed, swing angle, club head angle, ball speed and tempo. There are ten bays available at the moment, with a private room and coaching bay being added in July, the coaching bay will feature a full swing analysis system. Anybody can practice at Driving Range Plus and pricing is very reasonable being $14 for a half hour and $23 for an hour. The technology is such that it is possible for a group of four to play a full round of golf on a selection of 33 courses, or a golfer could practice any single aspect or club that they wish, maybe driving a fairway or perhaps chipping over a hazard.
