After 20 years as group chief engineer at Wilson and Horton, John took early retirement to become director/technical adviser at Green Graphics. Today, the company is the New Zealand agent for Ferag AG, Goss Graphic Systems Australasia, Baldwin Graphic Equipment, Brisset Rollers, QuadTech and several other international suppliers of equipment and components. It also offers a range of equipment in the production chain from WRH AG and deals in second-hand equipment. Green Graphics work involves a great deal of international travel to keep up-to-date with the latest in global publishing trends. John was in the USA recently inspecting QuadTechs Autrotron Newspaper 2800 integrated register guidance system, which can be used efficiently with existing equipment. Aaron has worked in the United Kingdom and after training in Switzerland with the manufacturers, worked as the Ferag supervisor at the Ellerslie plant now known as Ellerslie Printers. He also worked extensively on the Goss range, while Justin ked a year for Goss in Preston, UK, and is also very experienced with Ferag. The team at Green Graphics Ltd is also involved in with SWUG (the Single Width Users Group), which holds conferences each year for delegates representing various technical services from regional newspapers. This years conference will be held in Hastings.
