There is a pool to cool off in during summer plus a hot water under cover spa for relaxation and a BBQ for you to use. If you feel energetic you can have a game of tennis, play pentanque, croquet or bowls. There are golf courses nearby; horse trecking, shooting and fishing; the Marlborough Sounds are just a short drive and Kaikoura for swimming with dolphins and whale watching is just an hour and half's journey.
