  • Product list: Kawhia Camping Ground is a small Camp Ground offering a great spot for families,fishing and fun! It is situated on the West Coast of the North Island and offers a wonderful area for fishing, swimming and boating. Come dig in the sand and try the hot water of Te Puia Springs. We also offer 4 wheel drive trips to the Springs and our wonderful Ocean Beach.(weather and numbers permitting). We have powered tent/caravan/campervan sites, cabins and on site caravans available. There are good communal facilities -- kitchen, showers, toilets and a family room suitable for use by the disabled.There is also a laundry for camp use. The machines cost $2 per load. We also have a fish cleaning area available for use by the campers. The prices are:- $12 adult/ $6 under 15 years of age for tent or caravan/campervan sites. Cabins and caravans range from $30 for Two plus $12 each extra adult/$6 each extra child under 15 years.( prices subject to change) Under 5 years are free. We also have kayaks for hire.
