I prefer to have events where there's a variety of food, drinks, and overall, a thoughtful presentation. My perspective has always been that if people go out of their way to visit with you, you should return the favor by not half-assing your get-together. I don't think we did. The food and drink selections seem to satisfy most everyone, including some kids with pretty particular tastes. i have a wide range of foods that I make. You tell me how many are coming and leave the rest up to me. I will come in set the whole affair up and serve if you would like. I have a selection of sweets as well as savoury, surprises are always good.
