  • Product list: Bruce Perry, the original founder of the Company was the son of a motor engineer and the grandson of a coach Builder, engineer and blacksmith. In the 1940's Bruce was producing turned components in a home workshop in Auckland and, on moving to Wellington, continued this until 1951. With his older brother, he then formed a new Company - Perry Bros Son Ltd. The plant included two home built lathes. In 1952 the Company moved to larger premises in the City, taking on staff, and producing such items as a Finishing Machine, components for the motor industry, the Railways etc. In 1971 his son Donald joined the Company and Cam Auto Lathes were introduced to cope with increasing demand. This began a long association with Tony Jack of Jack machine Tools and in 1994, Tony was appointed Manager of the new Auckland Branch. The Company, now known as Perry Engineering Ltd, has developed into a high quality customer focused operation with up to date plant and facilities - Cam Auto Lathes; capacity 36mm CNC Sliding Head Lathe: 16mm capacity CNC Miyanos: 42mm capacity Capstan Lathes Drilling and Milling machines. Don Perry and Tom Scott in Wellington, and Tony Jack in Auckland, along with their skilled staff, run two quality machine shops servicing over 150 manufacturers throughout New Zealand and (recently) Canada.
