We offer a variety of quality equipment, Canadian Canoes, 2, 3 or 4 person and Double Kayaks. Taumarunui Canoe Hire is located 12 kilometres north of Taumarunui township. Families and beginner paddlers can enjoy the Whanganui River. Almost anyone can enjoy one of our adventures. Many customers have been over 65 and thoroughly enjoyed the trip, finding it well within their capabilities and many clients have never canoed or camped before. Careful instruction and training is provided, and your comfort and enjoyment is our main priority. The emphasis is on relaxation and fun, all in a unique setting. Taumarunui Canoe Hire starts its journeys at Taumarunui, Ohinepane or Whakahoro, and collects people at Ohinepane, Whakahoro or Pipiriki.
