As a family, we felt we should share with others the magic of what has kept us here on the family farm for 5 generations. In any kind of weather the views are breath taking. The area includes; 1000 acres of farm and 660 acres of native bush which has been put into the QE II Trust to protect it for generations to come. Our farm is a fantastic example of what Waitomo is renowned for; caves glow-worms, rough limestone out-crops, lush green fields and friendly people. At present we have a number of walking tracks through our native bush. There are also a number of rock climbing areas which are mapped out for those interested. Caves are scattered throughout the farm and can be accessed by guided trips organised by us. Spectacular views, Glowworm Grotto, Barbecue area Two self-contained pioneer cottages Accommodates from 1-5 people per cottage Two self-contained pioneer cottages on established sheep and cattle farm. Enjoy fantastic 180° views from your verandah. At night, visit a glowworm grotto, only metres from your cottage door. Each cottage has own bathroom, heater, electric blankets, refrigerator and cooking facilities. Cottages can accommodate from 1-5 people in a cosy open plan room with loft. Continental breakfast is included in tariff. BBQ facilities. Self-cook dinner packages available by prior arrangement. Smoke free!
